The pole-vaulters launch themselves into the sky

Whoosh- the distances runners take everyone by surprise

The jumpers really know their stuff

Making the other teams look like dump

Too bad they don’t have Boyens to make them huff

Watch out for the hurdlers

Owning the track, they look like rulers

Thump- the throwers amaze the crowd

Shuffling, spinning to great lengths

Leaving everyone to bow down

Cuozzo knows all their strengths

Diaz takes out his clock

New potential to unlock

Look out for the middies

Their a different kind of species

Every day we do core

It doesn’t matter how sore

Put all of us together

As we all leave the meet
