TIPS FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT
Quick things you can do to "rewire" your brain during any stressful or emotional moment
Compiled by Mrs. Mansfield
WALK IT OUT
Stand up and walk out of the room for a minute, then come back in.
RELAX YOUR SHOULDERS
Consciously push your shoulders down toward the floor and breathe.
DEEP BREATHS
Breathe in slowly, hold for a second 'at the top,' then breathe out slowly and hold for a second 'at the bottom.' It takes some practice to do effectively!
SMILE!
Force your face to smile for a minute: smiling when you don't feel like it tricks your body into releasing 'happy' chemicals to your brain. Show your teeth!
